My name is Max Kneis and I am a sophomore Finance and Accounting major running for Student Government Board. Currently, I serve as the Vice Chair of the Allocations committee and work in the WPU Reservations office, assisting student groups daily with funding requests and event planning. I hold the position of treasurer in Phi Beta Lambda, a professional business organization. Further campus involvement has included first-year Resident Student Association, Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society.

      My desire to serve as a board member comes from two places: to continue to aid student groups achieve their organizational goals and serve as an advocate for all undergraduate students. I have a passion for making a difference on our campus and ensuring organizations have the resources available to them to achieve greatness. I want to continue to improve the marketing and accessibility of the allocations process to make student groups more comfortable with it and open up more rooms in campus buildings for student groups to utilize for meetings and events. Finally, I want to improve the experience of finals week for all students by adding a reading day for increased studying time and expanding the time between exam slots.  

      I am dedicated to advancing the interests of all undergraduate students and working hard on your behalf. Along with working on my stated initiatives, I will always be open to ideas and concerns from anyone in the student body.
